Answer questions 1-5 on your released math SOL: 1. Make sure to write down the question number 2. Write out each step to your problem This week check the blog DAILY to see math homework. We will be working our way through the SOL test! *These problems will also be handed out in class, in case you need to see them again follow this link: http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/released_tests/2015/gr_5_reading_released_spring_2015.pdf *All data should have been collected by now!

Your question and your hypothesis 2. Your graph (representing your data) 3. Calculations for central tendencies 4. Which central tendency best represents your data *Get ready to present these projects in class next Friday! Students should have completed last weeks post for research questions and hypothesis
This week students should: 1. Calculate mean, median, and mode 2. Determine what central tendency (mean, median, and mode) best represents the answers to your data 3. Pinpoint any outliers Remember: Having outliers will skew your data! So make sure that you address these in your presentation Students will be starting their unit on data collection this week!
For this week: 1. Design a research question and hypothesis 2. Think of a way to collect your data 3. Have some data collected before next week *Email me with any questions or comment below. Make sure you are working with your group members. 1. Complete the Geometry Review (given in class!)
